Spring Time Turkeys

A ritual of spring time. During early spring, usually in March and April here in South Texas, the wild turkey will go through its mating ritual trying to attract a lady friend. These turkey toms were in their seasonal finest as they were strutting and prancing about in hopes to attract a female. These photos were taken on the Keller Family Farm during the Month of March. The wild turkey has made a tremendous comeback over the years. They were almost non existent a decade ago.
