Rock Port Texas Photography

Recently made a photo shoot to Rock Port, Texas. Main purpose for the trip was to photograph the endangered Whooping Cranes that winter along the Texas Coast. While we were able to get some very good photos of the birds, they were more scattered due to several large grass fires in the area that they usually hang out. The trip was not a total loss because we were able to photograph a variety of shore birds that spend the winter here. A beautiful sunrise over the Fulton Harbor and a fire crew battling a large grass fire added to the variety of photo opportunities.
